District Cross Country

After many practices and meets in the Boise heat, the district meet was held on October 9th, a cold and blustery fall day. Lake Hazel, Meridian, Sawtooth, Eagle, Heritage, Lowell Scott, and Lewis-Clark 6th, 7th, and 8th middle school girls/boys ran at the famous Settlers Park. For the those friends and family members who have been to Boise, it is also known as the "pirate park". Brittney finished 51 out of close to 200 girls. She ran a great race in the wind and cold in 12:34 for a mile and a half.

Way to go Boo!!

We're back!!!

Everyone keeps checking and nothing has changed on our blog. But our home has changed. We have been painting the inside of our home. A lot has been going on and we can't wait to share our pictures with you. The children are back in school and doing well. They each are playing a sport--Brittney is running cross country, Justin is playing baseball, Bailey is playing soccer, Brandon is running, and Mom is trying to keep up. Brandon just ran his first marathon on 9/20/08 in Logan, UT. Look for details to come. Way to go Brandon, we are proud of you!!!!
Janalee, Tony, and Pauleen ran the 5K the same day. We all crossed our finish lines.

Painting the four corners....

After living in our home for almost 10 years now, it was time for a fresh coat of paint. Everyone wanted a brush to put paint the walls and baseboards. Brittney got pretty good at masking things off with the tape. Jana couldn't wait to clean up the dust bunnies up on the plant shelf and paint the vaulted ceiling walls.

Mother's Day 2008

Happy Mother's Day 2008!!!!

Nothing says Mother's day like shiny new rollerblades! With Jana's gall bladder surgery just two weeks ago, and running a 5k Race for the Cure the day before Mother's day, getting out of bed early on Mother's day in your pajamas and riding your new rollerblades around the block is PRICELESS! Check out the smile on Jana's face as she loves getting her picture taken so early in the morning looking so beautiful!!!

We love you Mom!

LCMS - 6th Grade Spring Concert

Each day after school and sports, one of the most often heard words in the Woolf home is "Have you practiced your 30 minutes yet Brittney?" Well, after all those many hours of practice Brittney was ready to particate in the Lewis Clark Middle School 6th Spring Concert. Tonight her and her band mates played the following three songs under the direction of Mr. Garret Vaughn:

1. Midnight Madness Brian Balmages
2. Dance of the Jabberwocky Rob Grice
3. Attack of the Slide Trombones Mike Hannickel
4. Defender of Time Rob Grice

Brittney sounded and her classmates sounded wonderful. Thanks goes out to Aunt Margett for letting Boo borrow her clarinet. She truly knows how to soak that reed and make it play a sweet melody.

Father and Sons Camp Out - Succor Creek, OR

Justin and Brandon had the opportunity to attend the annual Father and Sons camp out on Friday, May 2, 2008 at Succor Creek State Park just across the border in Oregon in the Owhyees. There was a good turnout from our ward and had a great time hiking and exploring caves along the canyon walls. They took plenty of blankets to keep warm. Meanwhile, the girls had a great night of pampering themselves with good food, fingernail painting, and watching movies.
